The process begins with an initial consultation with a view to understanding the essence of your business and what you wish to achieve from your site. Particular focus will be placed on the style, and level of technical features required to build and maintain the site with plenty of guidance and advice available and given as needed. We are then in a position to quote and agree a price for the project. We will then produce a design for approval. Once the design is approved, we require a non refundable deposit of 50%, in order to begin the build.

Planning is of considerable importance in a web site build. This is a collaborative process between Art 1 and you. Firstly textual and graphic content must be agreed and collated. This

stage involves research and copywriting, photography and preparation of graphics. Once a deposit has been received a time table should be established for the supply of information and any graphics or logos from the customer. During this time Art 1 will also be preparing a structure of information retrieval in your site, we will also prepare a working shell of the site which you may view on a password protected live site. An agreed time for further feedback will be prearranged.

Art 1 can provide help with the collating of information but this will be a small extra charge. Once everything is assembled and fully planned, the site build can begin. Further regular meetings will be arranged to deliver feedback and progress.
